Illumine Films is a woman minority-owned business and the indie banner of Brooklyn-based filmmakers Kristina Kim & Sergio Caballero. Two first generation immigrants with a rich cultural background spanning six nationalities. The duo draws from their personal experiences to create stories about broken characters with identity conflicts. Characters who get what they need, not what they want. They write, direct, produce, and edit all of their original narratives. Their work has screened at festivals worldwide (NYICFF, DWF:LA. ShortFest. SItges FF, NY Shorts, Cannes Court Metragé).
